The Empire Rushmore Direct Vent Gas Fireplace is backed by Empire Comfort Systems' Limited Lifetime Warranty, giving you long-term confidence in the quality and durability of your fireplace when professionally installed and maintained according to the owner's manual.

Limited Lifetime Parts Warranty

The following major components are covered for the lifetime of the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship:

• Combustion chamber
• Heat exchanger
• Factory-installed ceramic glass

If a covered component is found to be defective, Empire will repair or replace it at its discretion.

Three-Year Limited Parts Warranty

The following components are covered for three (3) years from the original purchase date:

• Burner system
• Gas valve
• Ignition components
• Firebox components
• All factory-installed parts (excluding items listed below)

One-Year Limited Parts Warranty

The following items are covered for one (1) year from the original purchase date:

• Remote controls
• Thermostats
• Accent lighting system
• Accessories
• Replacement parts

Warranty Requirements

• Must be installed by a qualified gas appliance technician.
• Valid for the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.
• Fireplace must be installed, operated, and maintained according to the owner's manual.
• Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.

What Isn't Covered

The warranty does not cover:

• Improper installation, misuse, abuse, accidents, or lack of maintenance.
• Labor, travel, diagnostic, shipping, removal, or reinstallation costs.
• Damage caused by unauthorized repairs or non-approved replacement parts.
• Cosmetic damage or normal wear and tear.
• Problems unrelated to defects in materials or workmanship.
