Lexington Hearth's Half-Round Sleeper Log Mantel offers the distinctive look of natural live-edge bark.  In addition to the pine-bark texture, this rustic mantle features rough-hewn tool marks, checks & splits, intricate grain patterns, and character knots. This live edge mantel is molded directly from a 8” x 6” sleeper beam salvaged from an old Kentucky barn.  Sleeper beams were used as floor joists in historic structures.  The craftsmen, knowing they would remain hidden, didn’t bother removing the bark.

This ultra-realistic replication of historic timber showcases exquisite details and will add an authentically rustic character to your living room. Molded in non-combustible Burncrete™, this log mantel is a majestic accompaniment to any fireplace. Due to its lightweight hollow-core design, this barnwood mantel can be securely mounted using basic tools, with no special skills required.
