Lexington Hearth's Grist Mill Rustic Mantel is molded directly from a 6” x 5.75” beam salvaged from an old Kentucky barn, faithfully reproducing every nuance and detail of this beautiful wood. Features include, deep weathered woodgrain, character knots, insect damage, saw marks, checks & splits, and tool marks. The character of this barnwood mantel is reminiscent of the timbers that were once used to build old fashioned water-wheal grist mills.

Crafted from Lexington Hearth's patented non-combustible Burncrete™, the Grist Mill mantel shelf has a beautiful wood grain surface, complementing both traditional wood-burning and modern linear gas and electric fireplaces. Thanks to its innovative hollow-core design, the Grist Mill barnwood mantel can be securely mounted using basic tools, with no special skills required. This elegant beam mantel comes in 5 hand-painted colors that accentuate the natural beauty of the unique wood that inspired it.
